Brynteg Invasion of Normandy - April 2003 |

| Tuesday April 29th 2003 : | 47 pupils and 4 teachers leave by coach from the Bridgend Recreation Centre at 2.20am to travel to Normandy, France. The crossing is by ferry from Portsmouth to Le Havre. | ||

| The Bayeux Tapestry is an embroidery that is roughly 20 inches tall and 230 feet long. It tells the story of the events leading up to and including the Battle of Hastings on October 14, 1066. | |||
