Some of you may be wondering what happened to the site over the last few
months, and why this year's CDs were so late in appearing... ...Well it all happened back in May. Completely out of the blue, I was struck by a horror called 'Transverse Myelitis'. No, I had never heard of it either. I walked to work as normal, and within an hour I was down the A&E in the local hospital unable to walk...and within a few days I was almost completely paralysed from the rib-cage down! Really frightening! Our hospital is a WiFi desert. No access to the Internet...so I was unable to even access emails, let alone work on the website. Slowly (much too slowly) movement is coming back and I am able to wobble around with a frame, and they have finally released me from the hospital to go home after 3 months. Intense physiotherapy is the story of my life at the moment...but at least I do have access to my computer again! Best wishes to all! |
